Competition Terms & Conditions

1. This competition runs from (18:00) Wednesday, 1 July 2026 to (00:00) Monday, 13 July 2026 (“closing date”).
2. The promoters of the competition are: Totalsports, The Foschini Group, of 340 Voortrekker Rd Parow East Cape Town 7500 (“Totalsports”) and PUMA Sports S.A. (Pty) Ltd of 1 Welbeloond Road, Equites Park, Atlantic Hills, Cape Town, 7550(“Puma”).
3. This competition is open to all citizens and permanent residents of the Republic of South Africa who are in possession of a valid identity document or passport, except:

• any person who is a director, member, partner, spouse, life partner, immediate family member, employee or agent of, or consultant to a promoter or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by, a promoter; and/or
• a director, member, partner, spouse, life partner, immediate family member, employee or agent of, or consultant to the supplier of goods or services in connection with the competition; and/or
• anyone who within a period of 183 days preceding this competition has won any competition organised, promoted, or conducted by a promoter, and/or who resides at the same address as such a winner; and/or
• anyone who uses the same telephone number to enter this competition multiple times (one entry per telephone number).

4. The competition is an entry-only, with no travel and/or accommodation included. The winner and their accompanying person must travel at their own cost to the HYROX Cape Town (Open Doubles Division) Race between 14-16 August 2026 and will be responsible for the costs of their own accommodation and food.
5. Entrants must be at least 16 years of age on the date of the HYROX Cape Town (Open Doubles Division) Race to be eligible to compete. If the winner or their accompanying partner is under 18 years of age, the other person must be over 18 years of age. A valid identity document or passport may be requested as proof of age.
6. Entrants and their accompanying partner agree to comply and always abide with these terms and conditions.
7. Entrants may enter the competition by tagging the partner they intend to compete with in the Hyrox Cape Town (Open Doubles Division) Race. Entries must be submitted via the official Instagram account only.
8. Within 1 (one) working day after the closing date, 1 (one) winner will be selected by means of a random draw conducted by the Promoters or a person nominated by the Promoters. The prize shall consist of 1 (one) double entry to the HYROX Cape Town Race to the value of R2,800 and 2 (two) pairs of PUMA HYROX footwear. The winner may select their preferred competing division, subject to availability. Footwear models, sizes and styles will be allocated by PUMA and are subject to stock availability at the time of fulfilment. No cash alternative will be offered.
9. The Winner and their accompanying partner acknowledge that content will be created and published during their event, including video and photographs of their event and time at the race.

   9.1 By accepting the prize, the winner and their accompanying partner agree that the Promoters, jointly and individually, may use their names, images, likenesses and any content captured during or after the event for marketing and promotional purposes, without any compensation.

   9.2 Following acceptance of the prize, the winner will be provided with a unique registration code to redeem their HYROX Cape Town race entries. The winner and their accompanying partner must redeem their entries by no later than 17 July 2026. Failure to redeem the entries by this date will result in the forfeiture of the race entries, and no replacement entries, extensions, cash alternative or compensation will be provided thereafter

 9.3 Winners are required to post social media posts and tag both Totalsports and PUMA SA during the event. 

10. Winners will be contacted electronically or telephonically within 2 working days of the draw taking place.
11. The prize is non-transferable. The winner must claim their prize within 48 hours of being notified. The winner and their accompanying partner will be required to provide their selected HYROX Open Doubles division within 48 hours so that HYROX can issue their entry coupons.
12. Failure to claim the prize, provide the required information, or comply with any of the Terms and Conditions, will result in disqualification, and a new winner may be drawn at the sole discretion of the promoters, time permitting.
13. Except in so far as is provided for in the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. Totalsports, The Foschini Group and PUMA reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition, any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reason whatsoever and without notice. In such event, entrants hereby waive any rights or expectations which they may have against Totalsports, The Foschini Group and/or PUMA South Africa and acknowledge that they will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Totalsports, The Foschini Group and/or PUMA South Africa
15. The promoters and their affiliates will collect and use the winner and their accompanying partner’s personal data for competition related activities. The personal data will fulfil the purposes for which it was collected or as required by applicable laws or regulations. It will not be used for a different purpose without first obtaining permission from the winner and/or their accompanying partner. Third parties unrelated to the competition will not use the personal information.
16. All entrants indemnify the promoters, their advertising agencies, advisers, suppliers, and/or nominated agents against any and all claims, damages and/or losses resulting from their participation in this competition arising from any negligent acts and/or omissions of the promoter/s.
17. The promoters assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft and/or destruction and/or unauthorized access to, and/or alteration of entries. The promoters are not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network and/or telephone lines, computer online systems, servers, and/or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail and/or entry to be received by the promoters on account of technical problems, human error and/or traffic congestion on the internet and/or at any web site, and/or any combination thereof, including any injury and/or damage to an entrant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in the competition.
18. An entrant can choose to be excluded at any time from direct marketing by notifying the promoter.
19.  This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with META. You agree that you are submitting your entry to the owner of the META business page and not to META themselves.
